How does the saying go? “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle?” A good reminder for everyone, myself included. Life gets messy. Emotions take over. We begin to see through tainted lenses. Egos get bruised. Things get said out of fear, hurt and self defense. Feelings get hurt. We may feel unappreciated. Resentments form. Divides widen… it’s a slippery slope. It can show up everywhere and spread like cancer. Like a chain reaction. Sometimes it can get out of control. Awareness is key. Humility is key. We often project our own hurts and insecurities onto others in this state of mind. I’ve learned in my 43 years that, like a mirror, what we see in someone that we don’t like is usually what we fear and reject in ourselves. Instead of condemning them, if we have self awareness, we can recognize it, and instead thank that person silently for shining the mirror. 🙏🏻When it feels like everyone is pissing in your cornflakes, and you don’t know why, and then you break down and surrender and realize your own shortcomings and take responsibility for them and sob like a baby and ask God how can you fix it and come back from the downward spiral of negative and toxic emotions…. he gives you an answer.👽

**And by my use of “you” and “your”, I’m really referring to myself. It just sounds more relatable to speak in the general “you”. 😊

Being a human is the hardest thing my soul has ever done. Remember we are all just humans riddled with flaws and here to learn (hopefully) before we move onto the next soul adventure.👽 I believe in my heart that it’s no mistake that this is the first card I drew when I asked God for guidance this morning when my heart was hurting so bad that I didn’t know what to do. I’ll put the meaning below… #godislistening ✨

White Buffalo Calf Woman is a prophetess who appeared to the Lakota Native Americans.  She presented to the Lakotas with a special pipe to amplify the power of their prayers and to bridge a connection between Earth and Heaven.  As she turned to leave the tribe, she turned into a buffalo of different colors to signify the unity of all races of humanity.  She promised that she would return to help bring unity and peace to Earth.  The sign of her return would be the birth of a white buffalo calf.  Call upon White Buffalo Calf Women to instill harmony into your relationships and for world peace.
